I am on a short break to figure out what to pursue next.
My aspiration is to do something on my own. In the next couple months, I am hoping to figure whether I can start right now or if it makes more sense to work for few years before I start.
Three main things to think through:
- If I were to start something, who would I do it along with?
- How to fund it?
- What’s the idea/What is the problem to solve?
Various criteria in my search:
- Distance to Founder/CEO: Lesser is better
- Role & Scope of contribution: Larger is better
So the possibilities are:
- Doing something solo
- Doing something with a partner
- Doing something early stage
- Joining a job
